ABOUT US

The Church of The Living God has been more than a place of worship; it has served as a beacon of hope and transformation. The story of TCOTLG Community Outreach & Services began with the profound desire of our church to make a positive impact on the lives of those in our community. We firmly believe that worship is not confined to a Sunday service, but can be expressed in everything we do. Our faith is deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, emphasizing the principle of doing unto others as we would have them do unto us. It is this belief that has driven us to create TCOTLG Community Outreach & Services, a testament to our commitment to helping others.

clothing closet

Our free clothing closet is a vital resource open to individuals of all ages, offering support during times of natural disasters and financial instability.

food distribution

We distribute food boxes to registered participants on a bi-monthly basis.

childcare

A safe and stable program that ensures your child will receive essential care, education, and nurturing.

after school program

Our after school enrichment program will provide and supportive and social environment for our youth.

"The TCOTLG charity in the great city of Leland, MS has been such a beautiful vision since its inception, not only for myself, but for other family members and friends! It’s been handing out great meals, surprise baggies, and turkeys for certain holidays, just to help families in need of a helping hand. Also those beautiful clothes they give to families especially during this day and time when it’s hard to get things because of the prices . They open their doors on Sundays for families who may need prayer or just a kind word of knowing things will always be great when you believe. Each of us should give what you have, with your whole heart, as this wonderful charity does."

"I have observed first hand the great work that TCOTLG Community Outreach & Services has done thus far. The food pantry has served local residents, as well as residents in the surrounding areas who are in need of food. They have committed to responding to the needs of the community through food distribution and support services. Being able to help someone have a healthy and nourishing meal is something we all need to do. Knowing there's somewhere to go and get a meal means a lot to someone who's not able to provide all the time. I consider this a blessing. The clothes closet at the church is another wonderful asset. I have donated numerous items. Being able to help those less fortunate does my heart good. The clothes closet is a place where neighbors helps neighbors. TCOTLG is a Godsend."

"The impact of TCOTLG's Fruits of Love Food Pantry has had on the community has been tremendous. They have provided fresh fruits and vegetables to the needy and underprivileged residents in Bolivar, Washington, and Sunflower Counties. The Fruits of Love Food Pantry serves the community regardless of race, creed, or national origin. They assist the community regardless of their resources.
