Our mission at TCOTLG Community Outreach & Services is to ensure that the students in our after school and childcare programs have access to healthy, easy-to-prepare meals, even on weekends. We are excited to introduce our Backpack Feeding Program, and we need your support to make it a success!

What is the Backpack Feeding Program?
The Backpack Feeding Program is a lifeline for children we serve. Every Thursday evening, we distribute backpacks filled with nutritious, easy-to-prepare meals to the students who may not have access to sufficient food over the weekend. These backpacks provide them with essential sustenance, ensuring they can focus on their education and not worry about an empty stomach.

How It Works:

Distribution: Every Thursday, our dedicated team packs these backpacks with healthy meals, ready for the weekend.

Empowerment: The children receive their backpacks and a sense of empowerment, knowing they have food to sustain them through the weekend.

Returns & Refills: On Monday evenings, the children return the backpacks, which we sanitize and refill, ready to repeat the cycle.
